Lab's Experiment: Carcassone! @ Games Laboratory | Melbourne | Victoria | Australia

We are continuing our series of board game organised play events.
This time we will play Carcassone!

Carcassonne is a tile-placement game in which the players draw and place a tile with a piece of southern French landscape on it. The tile might feature a city, a road, a cloister, grassland or some combination thereof, and it must be placed adjacent to tiles that have already been played, in such a way that cities are connected to cities, roads to roads, etcetera.

There’ll be a learn-to-play session at the start from one of our experienced board gamers.
Anyone can play, even if you haven’t tried Carcassone before!

After learning to play, there’ll be two rounds with random players. At the end of every round, there’ll be a chance to vote for the friendliest and most strategic players, and chances to win copies of Carcassone!

Rounds are timed, so even if the game isn’t entirely finished it will end when the time runs out – this is to make sure the event runs on time (don’t worry we will give you plenty of time).
